Kady oversees employee benefit and compensation management, training and development, human resources information system (HRIS) and employee relations for ONI. Together with a corporate staff of five, she is responsible for all corporate-wide employee benefit and retirement plans, implementing and monitoring HR training initiatives, building, maintaining and expanding the electronic HR data resources and providing support to the sites in all areas of human resources related issues.
She also has responsibility for payroll and HR for CHQ employees; pension, medical and life benefit administration for ONI retirees; the ONI relocation policy and interfacing with Dow Jones on benefit, compensation and HR projects.
Kady started her career with Ottaway in the accounting department. She moved up to chief accountant and then to employee benefits administrator. In 1988 she was promoted to director of employee relations and in 1990 to a member of the ONI management committee. In 1994, Kady was promoted to assistant vice president/employee relations and in 2003 she became assistant vice president/human resources. In September 2005 she was promoted to vice president/human resources and appointed to the corporate executive committee.
Kady is secretary of the ONI retirement committee and the 401k Administration Committee. Her professional affiliations include the national and regional chapters of SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management). She is a past member of the Media Human Resources Association board of directors. |
