Catherine Babcook, M.D., is Medical Director of Breast Imaging at McKay-Dee Hospital in

Ogden, Utah, a member hospital of Intermountain Health Care, Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr.

Babcook received a B.Sc.degree from the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada and an M.D.

from McMaster University, Ontario, Canada. Dr Babcook completed her internship in Internal

Medicine at University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and her residency in Radiology at McMaster University. She completed a fellowship in Ultrasound at University of California, San Francisco,

and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr. Babcook was a Faculty member at University of California Davis for five years and then

came to Utah as Director of Women's Imaging at University of Utah before entering private

practice. Dr. Babcook has extensive experience in mammography and breast ultrasound, and is

a member of a variety of medical societies including the American College of Radiology and the

Society of Breast Imaging. She has long served as a consultant to TechniScan Medical

Systems and most recently was the Principal Investigator on a clinical investigation at McKay-

Dee Hospital.
