Chad B. Friedman received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Yeshiva University in 1998. Mr. Friedman attended and graduated from the Benjamin N. Carodozo School of Law, with a J.D. in 2001.
Early in law school, through happenstance, Mr. Friedman became interested in bankruptcy law. To that end, he decided to take action in pursuing his academic interest. After careful consideration of his options, Mr. Friedman applied for student clerkships in various bankruptcy courts. Judge Novalyn L. Winfield, sitting Bankruptcy Judge in the District of New Jersey, and Burton R. Lifland, sitting Bankruptcy Judge in the Southern District of New York, apparently seeing some potential in Mr. Friedman as an applicant, offered him positions in their chambers. Gladly, Mr. Friedman accepted and, thereafter, lived the duration of his law school days happily employed as a student law clerk. Upon graduation, Mr. Friedman, accepted employment with Ravin Greenberg LLC. Mr. Friedman is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Debtor-Creditor Section. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, New Jersey Chapter, as well as a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates. NACA (www.naca.net) is a nationwide organization of more than 1000 attorneys who represent and have represented hundreds of thousands of consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices. Mr. Friedman is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey. His area of specialty is primarily concentrated in corporate reorganization. Mr. Friedman lives on the upper west side of Manhattan. |
