Chad Gillam was born in Shawnee Mission, Kansas on October 11, 1967. He moved to Colorado in 1981. Chad grew up in Franktown, Colorado and is a Ponderosa High School graduate. Chad attended the University of Kansas for both undergraduate and law school. Chad obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990, with honors (Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa). Chad then took a year off from school and backpacked across Europe before returning to the University of Kansas receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1994, with honors (Order of the Coif). Following law school, Chad practiced for three years with Wallace, Saunders, Austin, Brown and Enochs, P.C. in Overland Park, Kansas primarily representing physicians and hospitals in malpractice actions. In October 1997, Chad returned to Colorado joining Kennedy & Christopher, P.C., now Kennedy, Childs & Fogg, P.C., specializing in Health Care Law; Medical, Mental Health, and Hospital Malpractice Defense; Professional Licensing; Correctional Healthcare; Civil Rights; Employment; E/O, D/O, and Products Liability. Chad became a Shareholder of the firm in 2001. Chad remains admitted to the Kansas, Missouri and Colorado bars and is an AV Peer Review Rated Attorney by Martindale - Hubbell. |
