Chad Strathman represents large and small employers in all aspects of employment law, including employment litigation, counseling and training. He has extensive experience litigating and counseling about race and gender discrimination claims, sexual harassment cases, disability and workers' compensation matters and class action wage and hour overtimes issues. Chad has litigated matters in federal district courts around the country and has defended numerous charges of discrimination before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and various state agencies. He regularly lectures and writes on employment law matters and conducts management training sessions for nationwide Fortune 500 companies.
He is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals in the Eighth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits, as well as the United States District courts for the Districts of Minnesota and the Minnesota Supreme Court. Chad is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association. In 2004 and 2005, he was named a "Rising Star" by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine, a recognition given to top lawyers under the age of 40 who have been practicing 10 or fewer years. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living since 2003. Chad is AV� Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
