Mr. Mattix started a business called Pinnacle Computer Corporation in the early 1990s while attending college at Miami University. The company provided e-mail implementation and document management for the legal market. He graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance in 1993. Mattix became general manager for MAXimizelT Inc., a technology company specializing in e-mail, Internet security and networking. He later served as vice president for the Mycom Group, leading the team that created mailMAX, a cutting-edge e-mail security service.
