Chandran has consistently served in executive leadership positions throughout his career in the technology industry. He began his career at IBM, where he spent 14 years in various sales, marketing and management roles, followed by five years as general manager of the computer retail chain ComputerLand Canada. He joined Gestetner Corporation in 1989, and was appointed President/CEO just two years later.
In 1997, he became president and CEO of Canadian PC software and hardware reseller Softchoice, and orchestrated the company�s explosive growth in the US market.
Prior to joining ASAP, Chandran spent four years as a consultant and mentor to CEOs of small to mid-size companies in the Portland, OR area, creating and running management and leadership development programs for mid-level executives.
Chandran joined ASAP in March, 2005, as Pac West Region manager, with the dual purpose of serving our customers and building the sales team. After successfully completing that project in January of 2006, he was named VP, Sales Operations at the Buffalo Grove, IL headquarters. In this role he orchestrated a management structure and processes to effectively run the Inside Sales and Customer Care organizations. On August 1, 2006, Chandran was named Senior Vice President, Operations, responsible for the product marketing and operations functions of the company
