Changjin (CJ) Wang, Ph.D. has been Vice President of Business Development since November 2006. Prior to joining VIVUS, Dr. Wang held various positions in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. From March 2005 until joining VIVUS, Dr. Wang was Vice President of Business Development of Abmaxis, Inc. Prior to joining Abmaxis, he was Vice President of Business Development at TaiGen Biotechnology Co. During 2001-2002, Dr. Wang was Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Cellomics, Inc., and previous to that, he was Director of Licensing, Acquisition and Alliance at Packard Bioscience. Dr. Wang began his career in the pharmaceutical industry as a research scientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the College of Pharmacy, University of Kentucky, an M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry, and a BS in Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy, West China University of Medical Sciences. |
