Charles A. Davis age 59 is Chief Executive Officer of Stone Point Capital LLC Greenwich Connecticut a global private equity firm. Mr. Davis has held that position since June 2005 when the firm was established. Prior to that Mr. Davis was with MMC Capital Inc. the private equity business of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. serving as President from April 1998 to December 2002 Chief Executive Officer from January 1999 to May 2005 and Chairman from January 2002 to May 2005. He also served as a Vice Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. a global professional services firm and the parent of MMC Capital Inc. from September 1999 to May 2005. Mr. Davis is a director of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited Media General Inc. Merchants Bancshares Corporation and The Progressive Corporation. A Hershey director since 2007 he is a member of the Audit Committee. He was elected by the holders of the Common Stock voting separately as a class. |
