H&S Chemical Company was founded by Dr. Charles A. Schneider in 1983 in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a private consulting firm serving larger companies. H&S's roots in consulting give the company a unique advantage of being in tune with its customers' needs. We stay focused on our customers by delivering hands-on technical expertise to help our customers use our products, and by continually improving our products and services. In the 1980s, H&S developed a small research laboratory to support its consulting business, and from that laboratory, it developed more than 35 specialty chemical products, many of which are still offered today. In 1997, H&S moved to the technical enterprise zone of Covington, Kentucky, near Cincinnati, and built its new headquarters, including an expanded R&D lab, quality control and analytical labs, offices and manufacturing facilities. When H&S joined the Syrgis group in 2005, Syrgis Performance Products established its headquarters at the Covington site. Dr. Schneider, formerly the sole owner of H&S, now serves as the company's Chief Technology Officer. |
