Education: B.A., with honors, State University of New York at Brockport, 1976 J.D., with honors, New England School of Law, Boston Charles B. Dumas has extensive experience as counsel in commercial and residential real estate transactions and development, including land use and planning, title examination, construction law, finance, leasing, and management. He is an Examining Counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company. As a United States Small Business Administration Designated Closing Attorney, he performs closings throughout Upstate New York of transactions targeted to foster small business growth. He also represents a variety of Capital District businesses in areas that include their company organization, employee relations, contract negotiations and management, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Dumas was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1982 and is licensed to practice in all New York and Federal Courts. He is active in community affairs and serves several Capital District not-for-profit organizations in various leadership capacities. |
