Mr. McKenna has over 30 years experience in mergers and acquisitions, including more than 75 different transactions involving businesses with revenues ranging from $50 million to $3 billion, and has managed international assignments on three continents. He was the senior financial advisor to Daimler-Benz in its acquisition of Freightliner Corporation, and in its joint venture with ABB in the mass transit sector. He also assisted a Europe-based client in implementing its worldwide diversification strategy. In addition, Mr. McKenna has been the senior financial advisor to many middle market businesses, assisting them in the negotiation and successful closing of numerous investment banking transactions. Prior to founding Crowe Capital, Mr. McKenna was the partner in charge of the Oak Brook office of Crowe Chizek and Co. LLP, the eighth largest accounting and consulting firm in the United States. In addition, he was head of the corporate finance services group. Previously, he was a partner in the accounting firm Maine Herdman and subsequently a founding partner of Hartley, McKenna and Flood, which was acquired by Crowe Chizek in 1984. Mr. McKenna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration (accountancy) from Western Michigan University. Mr. McKenna is also a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society. Mr. McKenna is a registered General Securities Representative (Series 7) and a General Securities Principal (Series 24). He is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth. |
