Charlie Feuss has dedicated 25 years to representing management clients exclusively in the areas of labor and employment law. His practice includes the representation of a broad spectrum of employers from small, single location businesses to multinational corporations and Fortune 500 companies. He has worked in a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, bakery and food service, construction, hospitality, miscellaneous manufacturing, retail and transportation. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Charlie was a Shareholder at Seaton, Beck, Peters, Bowen & Feuss, P.A. in Minneapolis.
Charlie has represented clients in employment litigation in numerous federal and state courts around the country. He has practiced before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, the U.S. Department of Labor - including the Wage and Hour Division, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and numerous state agencies. He has also appeared before the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on international employment law issues.
A significant portion of his practice has been spent representing both union and non-union clients before the National Labor Relations Board and National Mediation Board. He has handled numerous representation (election) cases and unfair labor practice cases before the NLRB in over 30 states. In the area of labor relations, Charlie has negotiated many collective bargaining agreements, engaged in mid-term negotiations on behalf of clients, handled strikes and picketing situations of various kinds, and arbitrated numerous labor cases. He has also spent much of his practice helping non-union clients maintain union-free workplaces. He has also written widely on labor and employment issues, and been a frequent lecturer to business and legal groups.
He is a member of the Minnesota and Hennepin County Bar Associations, Labor and Employment Law Sections, the State Bar of Georgia and the South Carolina Bar Association. Charlie is AV� Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
