Charles F. McClafferty, who highlighted a remarkable 33-year career at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey by serving as the agency's Chief Financial Officer for the past nine years, has joined Kushner Companies in the same capacity. He has directed the activities of a professional and clerical staff of approximately 400 people engaged in providing the entire spectrum of accounting and financial services to the Port Authority for nearly a decade. Mr. McClafferty first joined the Port Authority in 1971, working principally in accounting, budget and finance. In 1986, he was promoted to Manager/Financial Accounting/Assistant Controller, and in 1994, was named Director, Audit Department. A graduate of Adelphi University where he earned a B.A. Summa Cum Laude, Mr. McClafferty is a member of the Financial Executives International; Institute of Internal Auditors; Institute of Management Accountants; and is a Certified Management Accountant. |
