Mr. Charles Mayer currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Seton Securities Group, Inc. a full service broker dealer headquartered in New Jersey. Prior to that, Mr. Mayer served as Chief Operating Officer from September 1999 and President from December 2000 of Tejas Incorporated and Tejas Securities Group, Inc. He held these positions through June 2004. He was appointed a Director in September of 2000 and still serves in that position. From 1995 until he joined Tejas Securities Group, Inc., Mr. Mayer was self-employed and managed personal investments in a number of companies unrelated to the securities industry.
From 1990 to 1995, Mr. Mayer was the Managing Director and Chief Information Officer with CS First Boston. Mr. Mayer�s other experience includes 21 years in senior positions with Morgan Stanley, Tech Partners, Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Mr. Mayer is the uncle of John J. Gorman. Mr. Mayer earned a B.B.A. and M.B.A. from Seton Hall University. |
