In January 2007, Charles Holley was promoted to Executive Vice President Finance and Treasurer. In this capacity, Charles will oversee finance, tax, investor relations and treasury. Charles is also a member of the Company�s Executive Committee. Previously, Charles held the title of Senior Vice President of Finance with responsibility for the company�s accounting and tax areas, its financial reporting as well as investor relations. In addition, he oversaw the financial support of the company�s corporate areas including real estate, benefits and risk management, Information Systems Division and the People Division. From 2003 through 2005, Charles served as Senior Vice President and Controller for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. From 1994 through 2002, Charles held several roles in Wal-Mart International including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the division. While involved with Wal-Mart International, he helped pioneer the Company�s international expansion efforts which included leading Wal-Mart�s international mergers and acquisitions activities.
Before joining Wal-Mart, Charles was with Tandy Corporation as Managing Director for Tandy�s European Memorex Consumer Product Division (Memtek International) and served as Director of Finance for its International Operations. Charles previously spent 10 _ years with Ernst & Young.
Charles received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas in Austin and earned his MBA in Finance at the University of Houston.
Charles is a member of Financial Executives International and a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. |
