Buddy is of counsel in the real estate department and served for five years as its chair before becoming co-managing partner of the firm in October of 1999. He served as co-managing partner through the end of 2006, at which time he elected to assume an "of counsel" position with the firm. Buddy focuses his practice on commercial real estate development, and during the course of his career, he has handled all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, and disposition for major real estate development clients.
Representative Matters
Represented client in all aspects of the negotiation and sale of its $210 million portfolio comprised of fifty-one multi-tenant office buildings located in seven states.
Represented client in the development of four major golf course communities.
Represented client in the assemblage of land for, and the development, leasing, financing and sale of, a high-profile, mixed-use project in Charlotte, N.C., incorporating retail, hotel, and multi-family uses.
