Mr. Storey is Senior Counsel at Carrington Coleman. His practice covers a broad range of litigation and general business matters, with particular emphasis on alternative dispute resolution, corporate law, and trusts and estates. Mr. Storey was president of the Dallas Bar Association in 1975 and served as a director of the State Bar of Texas from 1976-1979. He is a Master Emeritus and former president of the Dallas Inn of Court LVI, a Trustee Emeritus (and Board Chairman 1980-1990) of the Southwestern Legal Foundation, and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He served as President of the Children's Development Center and the Greater Dallas Council of Churches. He was a founding director of the Dallas Council on World Affairs. He also served on the Board of Governors of the Dallas Foundation from 1976-1979, as director of the Dallas Community Chest (United Way), as a founding trustee of the Winston School, and as a trustee of Family Service Inc., the Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Natural Science Association, Dallas Services to the Blind, the Family Guidance Center, Dallas Society for Crippled Children. Mr. Storey served as president of the Dallas Metropolitan YMCA, was a member of the YMCA National Board, was chair of the YMCA International Committee, and was a member of the Executive Committee of the World Alliance of YMCA's. He served as Board Chairman of Lakewood Bank and Trust Co., Senior Chairman of Allied Bank of Dallas, director of Allied Bancshares, Inc., and United Fidelity Life Insurance Company. He is a director of the University Medical Center, Inc. and a trustee of the Hillcrest Foundation. In 1996, Mr. Storey received the Justinian Award from the Dallas Lawyers Auxiliary. Mr. Storey was admitted to practice in Texas in 1948. |
