Charles W. Patrick joined the Board of OraSure Technologies, Inc., January 9, 2006.
Mr. Patrick has nearly 30 years of diagnostics experience and started his career with the Diagnostics Division of Abbott Laboratories where he held several key sales and marketing positions during his 12 years of service. Mr. Patrick also spent over 10 years as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Biosite Diagnostics where he had primary responsibility for developing and achieving Biosite�s strategic sales and marketing objectives. While at Biosite, Mr. Patrick was instrumental in building the company into a leading provider of rapid diagnostics for drugs of abuse and cardiac products to hospitals. Mr. Patrick also played a key role in establishing Biosite�s initial international sales and distribution capabilities. Since 2000, Mr. Patrick has worked as a management consultant, helping diagnostic and technology companies develop sales, marketing and distribution strategies and is the Principal and founder of Patrick Consulting. Mr. Patrick is also the President and Co-Owner of ADS Golf, Inc. Mr. Patrick also served as the Acting President and CEO for CallNexus, Inc., a telecommunications company based in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Patrick serves as a retained consultant for Accumetrics, Inc., a rapid cardiac device company and also served on their Board of Directors for two years.
Mr. Patrick earned a B.A. in Communications/Journalism from the University of Central Florida. |
