Mr. Smith has served as a Director of the Company since May 2004. Mr. Smith served as President and CEO of Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI), a national retailer of outdoor gear and clothing, for 17 years before retiring in February 2000. During his 35-year tenure with REI, Mr. Smith served in a variety of sales, operations and management positions including Senior Vice President Operations, Vice President Retail, and distribution manager. He was elected to the National Sporting Goods Association�s Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame in 2001, and was co-founder and first President of Outdoor Industry Conservation Alliance. |
