Charles founded the Magee Resource Group as Management Recruiters of Shreveport, Inc. in 1991 and has developed strong relationships with management in some of the nation's leading companies as well as an exclusive staffing relationship with one of the Fortune 5. He created the division of MRG dedicated exclusively to searching out the nation's strongest talent for the general manufacturing industry, particularly automotive. Charles has been recognized as a Regional Top 10 Billing Manager for the past six years for his leadership of the General Manufacturing and Engineering Division of MRG.

Prior to MRG, Charles acquired over 26 years management experience in the retail building materials industry, most recently as Sr. VP of Operations for a large privately held company. Having been recruited himself through an executive search consultant, Charles became intrigued by the search and recruitment industry. This interest, combined with a desire to help people achieve their goals and dreams, set Charles on an entrepreneurial venture. As president of MRG, Charles has guided MRG to become one of the top 10 firms in the world's largest recruiting network, MRI.
