Charles McKinney brings 33 years of experience in real estate, capital markets, investor management and general management. He is responsible for helping Mercy Housing establish a companywide asset management system and providing significant input into a comprehensive training program for the assent management group. Charles McKinney joins Mercy Housing from AIMCO, a national REIT in charge of asset management and disposition, HUD restructuring, partner and investor reporting and compliance for 800 affordable properties throughout 47 states. McKinney served as Senior Vice President, Head of Asset Management from 2002 to 2006. McKinney�s portfolio included 800 affordable properties and 60 conventional properties spread throughout 47 states.McKinney is also President/CEO of American Capital Advisors, Inc., a real estate consulting firm whose range of assignments dealt with over 100,000 housing units. There he was responsible for marketing services, negotiating new consulting agreements and leading the consulting engagements.McKinney has a BBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi. He has also completed the Barclay�s Bank PLC Senior Management School and has completed additional graduate credit courses in accounting, real estate law and real estate finance. |
