Charles (Chuck) Stuckey served as Chairman and CEO of RSA Security, a leading provider of identity and access management solutions, from 1987 to 2000, and served on the Company's Board of Directors until September of 2006 when the Company was acquired by EMC Inc. In addition, he was a director of Matrix One (which was also acquired in 2006) as well as a director of the Massachusetts Network and Communications Council (formerly the MTC), where he also served as its Chairman. He is a director of Common Angels, and was its past Chairman; a director on the Ohio University Board of Trustees; and director of the Ohio University Foundation Board. Chuck also serves on the board of two private companies, TimeTrade Systems and Adesso Systems. As the President, CEO and Chairman of Security Dynamics (now RSA a Division of EMC), he led the company from its origins as a startup in 1987, through an IPO in 1994, two secondary offerings in 1995 and 1997, and a number of major acquisitions including RSA Data Security in 1996. During that time, he led the effort to transform RSA Security into a global leader in e-security with over $250 million in revenue and more than 1,000 employees. In addition, Chuck has overseen RSA Security's corporate venture capital (CVC) investments in several market leading companies, including Verisign, nCipher, Trintech, Digital Goods, enCommerce (now Entrust), and VPNet (now Avaya). Prior to joining RSA Security in 1987, Chuck held sales and senior management positions at Control Data Corporation from 1974-1986 and prior to Control Data Corporation he held systems, sales and marketing positions at IBM from 1966-1973.
