Mr. Sadoski joined the company in 1983. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and worked for several years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen and Grant Thornton. In 1985 and 1986, he was promoted to vice president of Finance for various affiliates of Carrix (Eagle Pacific Insurance Company, Tradewell and Development Services of America). In 1989, he returned to Carrix as senior vice president, Finance. He has coordinated and negotiated all of the financing facilities for the domestic and international operations since 1989.
Mr. Sadoski is a current member of the Pacific Maritime Association Finance Committee. He serves on the board of directors of the Through Transport Mutual Insurance Association which specializes in the insurance of liabilities and equipment for international logistic companies and operators. He also serves on the boards for various joint ventures of Carrix. He has been a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was also chairman of the Unsecured Creditors Committee for Lykes Bros. Steamship Company, which successfully reorganized under Chapter 11 protection. He also served as chairman of the company's Retirement Committee that manages the employee retirement plans.
Mr. Sadoski oversees all of the company's banking, legal, financial, administrative, risk management, tax and employee benefit functions.
