Che Voigt is the president of L-3 Sonoma EO, a rapidly growing aerospace development and production company. This electro-optic design company is located in Santa Rosa, CA, and currently has 60 employees. Mr. Voigt has 15 years of experience in program management and engineering product design development, specializing in efficient and elegant systems packaging design. He is the inventor of 11 patents and has an additional 3 patents pending. Previously, Mr. Voigt founded Sapphire Design Industries (1996-2000) and managed program development - from paper studies to low rate production - for a wide variety of projects ranging from a 30-gram brushless motor for a tactical missile seeker to a 350-lb electric motorcycle. Prior to Sapphire, Mr. Voigt was at Versatron, (1986-1996) where he gained extensive design experience in the field of actuators and electro-optic gimbals for aerospace. |
