Cher Thomas brings 25 years of experience in business and higher education to TCR Group. Her expertise includes consulting in strategic management, managing change, team building, leadership development, and implementing academic technology. Her national and international consulting clients encompass private industry, non-profit concerns, and the federal government. Internationally, Cher consulted for several organizations including the United Nations in Eastern Europe's transition to democratic capitalism. Cher has held several executive positions in public higher education including that of director of strategic planning and academic technology applications with the nation's largest university system. At the campus level she has served as tenured Professor of Psychology. As a professional, she has held leadership positions in the Organizational Development Network, the Academy of Management, on the Board of Directors of the Society of College and University Planning. She has helped community organizations such as Goodwill Industries and the Girl Scouts of America. Before pursuing her advanced academic training, she owned and operated her own manufacturing and retail business. |
