Cheryl�s practice concentrates on estate and trust planning and administration, charitable planning and business succession planning. She counsels individuals in connection with the development and implementation of estate plans, charitable giving plans and business succession plans. Cheryl represents fiduciaries in connection with estate, trust and guardianship administration, probate court litigation and taxation. She also counsels non profit organizations regarding their tax exempt status and director and officer liability. Cheryl serves on the board of The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland and is a former board member of Art House Inc. and Brooklyn-Brighton Development Corporation. She is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association�s Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law Section (chair 2001) and has presented lectures before the Estate Planning Institute and the Marvin R. Pliskin Advanced Probate and Estate Planning Seminar. Cheryl is also a member of the American, Ohio State and Florida State Bar Associations and is an Ohio State Bar Association Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. Cheryl was an associate in the law offices of Ulmer & Berne and Kelly, McCann & Livingstone before joining Calfee in 2000. She became a partner with the firm in 2005. |
