Chip Schuneman serves as the Chief Operating Officer of ICS, Inc. In this role, Chip is responsible for client satisfaction, service delivery, business development, product marketing, partnerships, human resources, and operations of the company.
Mr. Schuneman brings a solid background in global leadership in both the public and private sector. His multinational reach extends from working with boards of directors in Israel to presiding over operations in the USA, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Chip brings nearly 20 years of experience leading businesses with annual revenues ranging from $5M - $80M+ in all areas of executive management including strategic leadership, business development, operations, sales, and marketing.
Prior to joining the ICS team, Chip founded and led a private consulting business named MAI Associates. MAI Associates provided execution oriented planning and leadership services to private equity firms, small- to mid-cap private companies, and corporations through supporting strategic planning, due-diligence, merger, acquisition, and successful post-integration initiatives.
Before founding his own business, Chip served as President of Kaplan IT, Inc. Kaplan IT is a leading provider of certification preparation, assessment, learning services and software to information technology (IT) professionals and to corporations who aim to train and prepare their IT professionals for hundreds of technology certifications in the IT marketplace. During his tenure at Kaplan, he orchestrated the company's global expansion in the corporate information technology learning market via multiple acquisitions in the areas of content management, development, assessment, and certification preparation.
In addition to his tenure with MAI Associates and Kaplan IT, Inc., Mr. Schuneman served as Vice President of Business Development for Thomson Corporation; Chief Operating Officer for Mentergy, Inc.; and Vice President of Business Development at Catapult, an IBM company.
Mr. Schuneman earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. |
