Chris is the Chief Creative Director responsible for all User Interface technology at Eyespot Corporation. An advocate of web standards and clean, easy to understand User Interface, Chris provides Eyespot with a design aesthetic blending style and simplicity. His 11 years of experience in the field include application design, web design, Expert level xhtml and css architecture, and Corporate Identity. Chris's recent emphasis focuses on Cognitive Interface and web application design including feature interactivity for social networking and video sites. Chris's Design Interface for the 2007 eyespot mixer earned Eyespot a PC Magazine gold award for "Easiest to use Mixer on the web".Prior to Eyespot, Chris served as Creative Director for Palm Tree Technology, an emerging leader in the field of Internet transaction security, and secure lossless music codec development.Chris's other application design accomplishments include lead design and development of the Gizmo Project VoIP application, and 5 years web design with MP3.com. Chris participated in the design and development of the groundbreaking, controversial MyMp3 site, along with other projects such as MP3's Artist pages, and an asset management interface for Viviendi Universal.Chris is also an award winning composer, which lends a unique perspective on user experience. He has received the ASCAP award for young composers, Aaron Copeland award for young composers, UCSD Stuart prize, and honorable mentions in the ASCAP and BMI awards twice.Chris holds a Bfa degree with graduate studies, department and latin honors from the University of California, San Diego. |
