Chris Purcell is vice president of Technology at Vulcan, Inc., where he oversees Vulcan's information systems, multimedia and technology planning, engineering and operations functions. His responsibilities include management of Vulcan business systems, software engineering and web development, program management, technology infrastructure and operations, audio/visual and studio engineering, enterprise systems integration, and end-user services.
Prior to joining Vulcan, Purcell was the assistant vice president of information systems and services for SAFECO Corporation, a Fortune 500 financial services company based in Seattle, Wash. He also served a variety of technology leadership roles at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), a global management consulting and technology services firm.
Purcell earned a bachelors degree in computer information systems from Purdue University in 1987. |
