Chris received his bachelor�s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia in 1997. Next he attended Bastyr University for four years, earning a Master of Science in Acupuncture and a certificate in Chinese Herbal Medicine. At the Bastyr Center for Natural Health, Chris completed the only Residency program in the country established for acupuncturists. In early 2002, he was a part of the original team of practitioners that opened the doors of the Center for Integrative Health and Healing in Delmar. Since then, he has been working with a team of providers to deliver an improved level of healthcare through collaboration. Chris is very excited to join the rich community of providers at Sunnyview to continue offering clients the most complete and effective care possible. Since 1997, Chris has traveled in the U.S. and the Orient to study qi gong, meditation and martial arts. He is the proud father of a very compassionate six year-old, who has proved to be an amazing teacher and student. He pursues continuing education, relationships with senior mentors and an active interest in the latest research on acupuncture to continually grow and improve.
