Description of Practice:
Chris Safarian is a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office where he practices in the Real Estate Department. Mr. Safarian represents clients in all aspects of real estate investment and finance, including, acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, management and sales. He has particular expertise in financing transactions, including bridge/permanent real estate and mixed-collateral financings, corporate credit facilities, lease financings, mezzanine and construction loans. He regularly advises a diverse base of clients, including originators of portfolio and securitized loans, loan servicers, private equity and opportunity funds, investment advisors, institutional developers, pension funds, REIT's, joint ventures, partnerships, corporations, limited liability companies, and individuals involved in various phases of real estate related matters throughout the United States.
Mr. Safarian is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the Armenian Bar Association.
Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Mr. Safarian was an associate in the Los Angeles office of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP.
Educational History:
Mr. Safarian received his B.A. in International Relations from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Mr. Safarian is fluent in Armenian. |
