Chris Schoettelkotte, Founder, President and CEO of Manhattan Resources began with a vision, a computer and a single desk (his own). Since that day in 1999, Chris' constant push towards excellence has created an organization with multiple offices and which is responsible for many hundreds of placements both nationally and internationally. Chris continues to focus on the strategic planning, marketing and growth of the firm as well as recruiting for his clients.

Chris brings significant executive experience to the company. Having started his career in sales with Union Pacific Corporation, where he was recognized as a top producer and later, as a Regional Director with Olsten Corporation, Chris has honed his ability to recognize and create value in all of his roles. In 1998, Chris moved to Corporate Express where he again led several turnaround teams and was promoted to Vice President of Sales.

Chris is a 1990 graduate of Western Illinois University with a degree in Marketing and received his MBA (International Business & Finance) from the University of Houston's Bauer College of Business in 1998. Chris lives in Houston with his wife Tracey and son Jeffrey.
