Description of Practice:
Christin is an associate in our San Diego office, where she provides critical associate-level support to the Real Estate and Capital Markets Finance teams. Christin's practice focuses on all areas of transactional real estate law, including financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and leasing, with a special emphasis on real estate financing and complex structured-finance transactions. She has prepared nonconsolidation opinions in over 90 structured-finance transactions, with loan amounts totaling over $5.5 billion. Her practice has also encompassed bankruptcy and creditors' rights. She has been involved in the firm's representation of a variety of clients, including chapter 11 debtors, secured lenders, landlords, bankruptcy trustees, receivers, and various business enterprises.
Christin is admitted to practice in all federal districts in the State of California. She is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of California, San Diego County Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute, and Financial Lawyers Conference. In addition, she is currently a director of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum and a former director of the Women's Insolvency Network of San Diego.
Educational History:
Christin graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she was Senior Executive Editor of San Diego Law Review and awarded membership in the Order of the Coif. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/American Politics and was awarded membership in Phi Beta Kappa. |
