Christine Baron is president of the Philadelphia Tri-State Region for Verizon Wireless, a position she has held since 2002. In this role, she oversees a $1.7-billion-a-year operation and more than 2,000 employees for the nation�s largest wireless company. She is responsible for business sales (corporate/government accounts), consumer sales, customer service, 115 company-owned retail stores and kiosks, and indirect and national retail distribution in the region. She also oversees the continuous expansion of the company�s wireless communications network throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and southern New Jersey. Under her leadership, more than $800 million has been invested in the company�s Philadelphia Tri-State Region network since 2001. |
