Christoph Lengauer is Associate Professor of Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and director of the Cell Imaging Core Facility of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Lengauer is interested in the problem of genetic instability and has been trying to solve the mystery of aneuploidy in cancer. His research focuses on cell-cycle regulation, checkpoint control and other mechanisms that maintain genomic integrity. Dr. Lengauer leads the Laboratory for Cancer Drug Discovery at the Center for Cancer Genetics and Therapeutics within the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. He holds an M.B.A. in medical services management and a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. |
