Dr. Christoph L�er is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery Rechtsanw�lte Steuerberater LLP based in its Munich office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department, where his practice focuses on trade marks, unfair competition, copyright, design rights and patents. Christoph studied law at the Philipps-University of Marburg. While preparing his doctoral thesis, he worked as a research assistant for Prof. Dr. R�ssner at the Institute of criminal science where he was engaged in legal aspects of anti-doping matters. In 2006 he obtained his Dr. jur. with magna cum laude from Philipps-University of Marburg. He served his legal clerkship with the district court of Marburg and an international law firm in Frankfurt and Chicago focusing on the law of unfair competition, Intellectual Property and pharmaceuticals. Christoph is admitted to practice before all District Courts and Courts of Appeal in Germany. He is alumnus of post-graduate studies in the law on pharmaceuticals at Philipps-University Marburg and is a member of the German Association for Intellectual Property Law (GRUR).
