Christopher A. Coughlin is senior vice president Project ONE, the company�s five-year business transformation initiative to improve its capabilities, processes and information systems. Mr. Coughlin started with the company in 1984 as a steel operations associate at the Faircrest Steel Plant. He also served there as supervisor rolling, prior to being named business economics analyst in the Canton General Offices in 1988. Mr. Coughlin returned to the Faircrest Steel Plant in 1989 where he served as area manager continuous thermal treatment, area manager rolling and manager rolling & roll services. Beginning in 1994, Mr. Coughlin held positions in the Steel Business of project manager manufacturing, bar business advancement manager and project manager Step 98 business integration. In 1997, he was named manager steel processing and, in 1999, business development manager Milltech Services. Mr. Coughlin moved to Colmar, France, in 2000 where he held positions in the Industrial Group of vice president primary metals, vice president process industries and vice president industrial equipment. He returned to Canton to assume his current position in 2004.
Mr. Coughlin received a bachelor�s degree in metallurgical engineering from The University of Cincinnati and a master�s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University. |
