Dr. Howard advises the firm s Africa-related clients. An expert on African Affairs, Dr. Howard has worked in sales, marketing, international project management, strategic planning, business development and internal consulting at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Beginning in May 2003, Howard served in General Electric s Corporate Initiatives Group where he reported to the Chief Information Officer. He was called to active duty during 2003 in Afghanistan where he was awarded a Bronze Star and currently serves as the Reserve Air Attach� to Liberia. He returned to GE in mid-August 2004 where he worked on several initiatives. Howard has also worked in Johannesburg where he served as the acting Managing Director of Endeavor, a global initiative that supports entrepreneurs in the developing world. In September 2005, Howard joined former senator and governor David Boren as the Vice President for Leadership & Strategic Initiatives at the University of Oklahoma where he also serves as the Director of the Honors College Leadership Center and a President s Associates Presidential Professor. |
