Christopher D. Man is counsel in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm�s Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Trial Department. Prior to joining McDermott, Chris was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of a prominent international law firm.
Chris�s practice focuses on civil litigation, white collar criminal litigation, internal investigations, and investigations by Congress and the Executive Branch. He has defended clients accused of violating securities laws, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). He advises companies on FCPA, Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) and trade sanctions compliance issues.
Chris has written numerous articles for legal publications, including The National Law Journal, New York Law Journal, Legal Times, www.law.com, Business Crimes Bulletin and several prominent law reviews.
Chris is admitted to practice in Missouri and the District of Columbia, as well as before United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit and the District of Columbia Circuit; the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the Eastern District of Oklahoma and the Western District of Oklahoma; and the United States Supreme Court.
During law school, Chris served as articles editor for The Washington University Journal of Urban & Contemporary Law. He won second place in the 1995 National Environmental Moot Court and first place and high oralist in the 1994 Washington University Environmental Moot Court. He was a member of the Order of the Coif.
