Chris Birosak is a Managing Director with Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity (MLGPE). Birosak joined MLGPE in 2004, where he focuses on investments in the health care, energy & power, and industrial sectors. Since joining Merrill Lynch in 1994, Mr. Birosak has worked in various capacities in Leveraged Finance with particular emphasis on leveraged buyouts and merger & acquisition financings. He earned a B.A. degree in Economics from Wayne State University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Detroit.
Chris lives in a suburb of New York City. A native of Detroit, he may often be found on a golf course, a ski slope or coaching little league baseball.
One of his proudest moments professionally came two months after 9/11, when he and his colleagues returned to the Merrill Lynch headquarters building in lower Manhattan. "As a firm and as employees, we had been through tremendous dislocation, stress, and sadness. Returning that day to see many of my colleagues for the first time since the tragedy, I was truly proud to be part of an organization that demonstrated the true character of the firm and its employees.
