Since graduating from Iowa State University, Mr. Edwards has accumulated 15 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked in the fields of custom software, telecommunications, and commercial software before finding his way to avionics, where he has worked the past eight years. His roles have included Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Project Management. Mr. Edwards has worked on contracts for Rockwell Collins in both commercial and government avionics. In addition he has worked for MCI, several smaller companies, and three of his own businesses. His approach to project management lies in streamlining process by using high quality tools, hiring the right people, and motivating them effectively. He is always focused on project risks, and has a record of finding ways to remove or reduce the impact of adverse situations before they arise. |
