Chris Sternberg has served as Papa John's Senior Vice President Corporate Communications since April 2005. In this capacity Sternberg is responsible for public and media relations franchise and internal communications government and public affairs community relations and special events.
From 2000 to 2005 Sternberg served as Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman assisting with investor relations and serving as spokesperson for the company and its high profile founder and Chairman John Schnatter. From 1997 to 2000 Sternberg was Vice President Corporate Communications responsible for public relations internal communications events and charitable giving.
Sternberg joined the company in 1994 as Assistant Counsel responsible for securities law compliance and assisting with corporate governance matters franchise acquisitions and investor relations. From 1990 to 1994 Sternberg was associated with the Louisville law firm of Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC practicing in the areas of corporate and securities law.
Sternberg graduated magna cum laude from Bellarmine University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and History and magna cum laude with a juris doctor degree from the Brandeis School of Law University of Louisville in 1990.
