Christopher W.D. Jones Chris is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Group. He practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities, finance, financial institutions, bank regulatory matters and international transactions with a focus on China. As a transactional attorney, Chris has helped both public and private corporations of all sizes to raise capital and to comply with Federal and state securities laws. He also is involved with general corporate issues, public company reporting requirements, debt financing, asset purchase deals, going private transactions, corporate governance and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Chris has a background in regulatory issues involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Federal Reserve, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and state banking and securities administrative agencies. Chris also has been involved with securities litigation, not-for-profit entities, partnership law, limited liability companies, real estate syndications, economic development issues and equine business matters.
