Chris's concentration is on patent practice. He has prepared and prosecuted many United States patent applications in the electrical, electronics, and software arts. Representative technologies include semiconductor design and fabrication, optics, computer hardware and software, computer architecture, networking, and image processing. Chris has drafted numerous technology license agreements, technology development agreements, confidentiality agreements, and opinions regarding patentability and infringement. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and his Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California . He graduated cum laude with a J.D. from the Widener University School of Law. Prior to entering the legal profession, Chris was a member of the Technical Staff at Bellcore (now Telcordia Technologies) and a Development Engineer at Moore Products Company (now Siemens Energy & Automation). More recently, Chris served as general counsel to a startup company that designed and manufactured software-based network monitoring and security products. Chris is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and is registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Chris is a member of various professional organizations including the Benjamin Franklin American Inn of Court, the Armenian Bar Association, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
