Dr. Chris Dvergsten, who joined the Company in August 2004, has over 25 years of PhD-level experience, with an emphasis on scientific research in the life sciences/new pharmaceutical development, and numerous peer-reviewed publications to his credit. His 11 years of basic science research experience in neuroscience and toxicology are balanced by an additional 14 years of experience in evaluating and moving novel drugs into clinical testing. Dr. Dvergsten received his BA in Biology from Luther College, Decorah, IA, in 1974 and his PhD in Anatomy from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND, in 1981. A former Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Virginia, Dr. Dvergsten�s background in life sciences and drug development is complemented by his later experience in the contract research industry with Pharmaceutical Research Associates, Inc. and INC Research, Inc. |
