As a TL Ventures Managing Director, Dr. Moller works extensively with early-stage biotechnology companies providing business, technical and strategic consulting. Currently a director of the Lankanau Medical Research Institute and the Mirror Lab of the Steward Observatories at the University of Arizona, Chris has been involved with TL Ventures and its predecessor funds since 1990. "The best part of my job is knowing that I'm making a contribution to realizing someone's dream and building companies with the potential to have a tremendous impact on people's lives," said Chris.
Typically, his role is to bring together an interdisciplinary team of managers, physicians, scientists and researchers all focused on bringing forward a new medicine or technique that can alleviate or reverse disease. "It's exhilarating and inspirational to work with successful entrepreneurs because of their exceptional intelligence and willpower and an almost magical ability to read situations and industries," he continued.
Chris currently serves on the boards of CombinatoRx, and Quatrx Pharmaceuticals in addition to the BOD of Sopherion Therapeutics. Chris has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Pomona College and a Ph.D. degree in Immunology from the University of Pennsylvania. |
