Chrystal James is a member of the firm's public law group. Prior to joining Meyers Nave, she served as a contract attorney at Foley & Mansfield, where she dealt primarily with general commercial litigation. In this capacity, Chrystal drafted pretrial pleadings and motions and facilitated case management. Prior to this she served as an associate attorney at Bright & Brown, where she practiced environmental law, real property, energy law, oil and gas law and general litigation. Chrystal participated in complex arbitration between two major oil companies in Alaska, and conducted all phases of discovery for other various clients.Chrystal received her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, where she achieved Moot Court honors and was a Distinguished Advocate. In addition, she was the Vice President of the Moot Court Executive Board, Co-Chair of the Black Law Students Association, student member of the Admissions Committee, and a Legal Services Volunteer for the Asian Pacific Legal Center. Chrystal received her B.A. with honors in Public Policy from Stanford University. |
