Cindy Shen, CPA, is a Managing Director in the New York office of RSM McGladrey. She is a member of the Financial Services Team and became a Managing Director in 2006. Ms. Shen works exclusively with financial service industry clients and has particular expertise in meeting the financial management needs of investment partnerships and registered broker-dealers. Along with general financial reporting, tax advisory and financial management consulting services, she works closely with financial services clients on various financial and regulatory compliance matters, including developing, designing and assessing compliance programs in institutions of all sizes. She has advocated change to improve efficiencies and engagement realization by streamlining work procedures and maximizing staff leverage and has been instrumental in their development with her client base. Ms. Shen is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her BA in accounting, with a minor in economics, from Queens College, New York. |
