Claire Johnson is a Research Analyst at KLD. She covers a portfolio of companies in the utility, industrial production, transportation, and communication sectors. She also conducts research for the international SiRi consortium.
Before joining KLD, Claire researched new markets for Worth Mountain Capital Partners, started a social work program at AMERA refugee legal aid clinic, interned for Human Rights Watch, and worked for the Shearman & Sterling litigation department.
Claire holds a B.A. in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, with a focus on the Middle East and a minor in Arabic. At Middlebury, she organized the Amnesty International Club and played varsity volleyball. She studied abroad at the American University in Cairo and has a good understanding of Arabic and French.
In her spare time, Claire and her family run a small non-profit to fund refugee initiatives and medical care for asylum seekers and refugees in Cairo. She also enjoys volunteering at the International Institute of Boston, a refugee legal aid center. |
